Resumes

A resume is a brief but detailed synapsis of your high school activities, interests, and involvement in and outside of school. A good resume can, in just 15-20 seconds, give a reader a sense of how you spend most of your time. It is a brief, but concise document that presents and effectively sells your most relevant and positive credentials for admission into your program of choice or acceptance for a job or scholarship.

Typically, a resume is used as part of the interview process or for scholarships and job applications. However, having a resume with all of your information allows you to be more organized when filling out college applications as well! It's beneficial to leave a resume with college representatives that visit CHS as well as if you're interested in attending their university in the future. Information should only be put down from grades 9-12 as middle school information is not valid or important for a resume.
